put it to the test today on the waters and i must say it really held up. good price, only downfall is the pump isnt really good until u get to filling the main hull where u need it, otherwise just use ur mouth, much quicker. in the water, thing really holds up...its weight limit is like 250, but me and my friend took it out to the lake and our combined weight was easily into the 300s and it held up fine. a little small but it wasnt as bad as it could be. cant wait to go back out soon and use it again!

This raft easily fits an adult and a child. It comes with a pump so you can spare your lungs. It inflated quickly and then took quite a beating from two boys playing on a pond in it for hours. I fully expected it to be punctured but it was surprisingly durable. The dog even swam out to it and jumped in-- no punctures still!

I got this boat for my 11-year-old granddaughter and she hasn't stopped using it for three days. We have a pond and she's able to maneuver it around there for endless hours. It's rather small, two larger adults couldn't fit, but two kids can fit comfortably. It's a strong, well-built boat. I didn't expect it would hold up either, especially for the price, but I can see that it will last a long time. We used our air compressor to pump it up; the little pump that comes with it is not adequate. It would take forever. So be prepared with a larger pump or you'll be waiting a long time to use your boat. If and when we take it to the lake, we'll just leave it aired up and throw it in the back of the truck.

Product was defective out of the box not holding air, vendor Vitalityweb Backsport Health Products told me they sell this item as is and refused to replace the defective product. They directed me to an Intex customer support number that never is answered. Vitalityweb Backsport Health Products then ignored my subsequent emails to address the issue. I would strongly encourage prospective customers of Vitalityweb Backsport Health Products to take their business to a more responsible online vendor.

Survived 40 teens at a pool party! Feb 25, 2010

I organized a recent indoor pool party at our school. We had 40 teenagers coming and I needed 2 boats that could withstand the abuse that they were going to get.
The boats and the oars came out without any problems whatsoever. If the boats and oars can survive 40 teenagers jumping on them and racing them, I am sure they could survive anything! They are very well made and the material is very thick and sturdy.
The 2 man boats fit two teens comfortably and did not tip over at all.
Some of the moms were so impressed they asked where I got them so they could buy them for their pools and vacation homes at the lake or shore.
I purchased these from Backstore and they shipped promplty with no problems.
I am thrilled with this purchase!
