Not bad... Sep 06, 2010
By J. Hayes It is what it is, an entry level personal pontoon that is very functional but lacks the quality and features of more expensive makes. First, I like this boat. The price is right. It's lightweight, easy to row and will take you to very remote fishing spots if you prefer the road less traveled...which I do. I find the boat to be very comfortable and love the easy access to an abundance of storage and pockets. I haven't had any trouble with the covers. I was worried they would snag. No where near as tough as the pvc pontoons but so far, so good. It sets up easy and folds away small enough to fit in the trunk of your car.
Like I said this is an entry level boat and it does have its issues. First, I hate the valves. The more expensive boat have a one way valve so air can't escape while you're pumping. It's sort of a race when you get through airing this thing up to get the valves closed and sealed. Also, both times I thought I got plenty of air in, within an hour or two, my rear deck was under water. I think it may be air temps more than leaky valves but it is a design flaw and causes extra drag. The deck should have been elevated more. The oars have never snapped in place right. I've used tape to hold them together. And my last complaint is it has no anchor system. Every toon should have one, imo.

Great boat, great price. Jul 30, 2010
By Michaela Abercrombie I bought this boat a few months ago and at first I really didnt like it. The seat was not comfortable for me because I have had back surgery. After doing some research I found the Boat Sea¬ Swivel Clamp by S.J. Company
for $19.99 on Amazon and Bass Pro Shops® Folding Molded Boat Seat for $22.99, now I dont have a complaint in the world about this boat. Its light, easy to assemble, and will take you antwhere on the lake/pond you want to go.

misleading advertising Jun 13, 2010
By AK Instructions skip steps. possible to assemble ama upside down.
350 lb. load capacity off by about 250 lbs. I weigh about 225 and even when pontoons inflated super tight, my pantlegs were still in the water. Water went up my pants half way to my knees when rowing. heel of shoes got in water with each row stroke as boat settled back forward. seems like seat assembly is set too far forward. pontoons are larger in back than front. All this in calm lake.
Seat back folds forward as you are trying to get in boat and you end up sitting on it.
Oar stops slip all over the place. they are just rubber gromets that slide easily with no stops. very hard to row when oars keep slipping in and out through locks.
Don't buy this unless you weigh less than 100 lbs., and won't be carrying any cargo (I had a bag of potato chips, 2 cokes, and the pump), and don't mind getting wet. I gave it one star because it arrived on time.
