Cannot be beat for the price Jan 01, 2010
By Paul Cooper I bought this paddle to replace an NRS PTR paddle that I used for two years then lost it somewhere. This paddle is surprising how light and stiff it is. Not as light as a high end paddle but not as heavy as you would expect a low cost white water paddle to be. Paddles that cost three times as much are nicer, but not three times nicer!

Very good for its very low price. Oct 18, 2009
By Kevin Pope Surprisingly light and stiff for an inexpensive paddle. Its not head-to-head competitive with the high-end paddles but is a good utility paddle for whitewater and excellent if you consider the very low price. Makes a good loaner or backup and works well for newbies that aren't sure they will be in the sport long enough or often enough to shell out big bucks.

NRS PTK Paddle May 31, 2011
By Rich Jensen I bought this paddle as my third spare. I used it one day on river and found it to be rigid enough to handle some playboating and aggressive river paddling. Off set worked well for rolling and bracing. I did not like the small blade size, Not a bad paddle for the price. Would rate it as a great entry level paddle.
For the price we are very happy with these paddles Oct 20, 2011
By pkano86 I bought these as a gift to supplement missing/broken kayak paddles. First, you cannot beat the price, and will not have to worry about these getting broken/lost as much as a higher priced paddle. It is made with a plastic like material and seems very sturdy. The handle is thicker than what I was use to with fiber glass paddles. I did research on other sites to get further information about this product, and mainly because of the price, and availability in different sizes, chose this product.
Don't forget to research the proper length of paddle for your height. I read that you should just be able to wrap the tops of your fingers over the top of the paddle while it is standing lengthwise in the air.
