By Gerald S. Wyant My first trip on an Ocean Kayak with the original seat was quite painful to my back. I am a large man and this seat, with the taller back, helped increase my enjoyment on the water a hundred fold.

By D-YAK Cost vs. benefit is real good but best via amazon. Comfortable padded seat when adjusted properly for each individual using it. Accessory attachment straps on back are good idea but could be a different attachment system for more purpose. Without making modifications you can only attach propriatary accessories. But gets wet due to kayak design when scuppers flood. seat could be designed to repel small amt of water.
