I love my sea eagle 9 and would reccomend it to anyone who wants a quality, cheap, and reliable boat. On my sea eagle 9, is a 2.5 hp 4 stroke suzuki outboard. It works well for the boat. Don't plan on planeing on this boat. Just expect for it to get you from place to place.
This is a great boat for fishing. I fish from my boat for flounder, red drum, black drum, speckled trout and anything else that might bite my line. I fish in the intercoastal waterway and under snow's cut bridge in carolina beach, nc. I catch just as many fish as people with bigger boats such as carolina skiffs. This past summer I caught 3 red drum, 2 flounder, and 6 black drum within 1.5hrs. I was very happy!
PROS
-roominess on bored
-amount or equipment with i can hold with 2 people on board
-hard floor
-size of it deflated
-fishing ability
CONS
-the center bench seat(I dont like it at all. I use a 32 Quart cooler to sit on instead)
-trying to put the motor mount on(takes a lot of work to put on but you will eventually get it)
-putting the motor on at a boat ramp(I drop my boat in off a boat dock and put the motor on after the boat is in the water)
Don't put more than 2 people on the boat on if you are fishing. You can put 3 people on the boat for a joy ride but not for long periods of time
Don't use this boat in the ocean.
You can use it in salt water as long it isn't too rough and the wind isn't too strong.
Perfect boat for begginers
Made of Thick material that wont pop/break
