1Don't waste your money  Jun 29, 2009 By Noah Nelson
I bought this under the impression that it would not only increase the rigidity of the boat, but also make it faster, as was stated on the Sevylor website. It did make the boat much more rigid and adds a layer of protection, however the boot has two large drainage holes on the bottom which causes the boot to act like a giant drift sock and severely hinders movement. After pulling the boat back to shore I emptied what must have been about 5 gallons of water from it. Save your money, the boat is rigid and durable enough as is, this will only slow you down.

3wouldn't order it again  Apr 07, 2011 By Blain Hunt
This came from the factory with a leak preinstalled! But it was too much trouble to send it back and I couldn't find the leak, which was very slow, using soapy water. The biggest problem is that, although it is easy to blow up and deflate the sides, the bottom has a different kind of stupid little valve. IT TAKES FOREVER TO GET THE AIR OUT! I cannot believe the manufactures are stupid enough to make it this way, and this is a real disadvantage and is inexcusable. The CEO who runs this company must be a moron. I also ordered the protective boot for it which is really too thin. For a one day outting, the boot is too much trouble to put on, and if you are going to use the boat a lot I'd buy a big can of rubber cement from West Marine(expensive stuff) and coat either the bottom of the boat or the boot because if you drag this inflatable over gravel or rocks you'll eventually puncture it. Better to spend a bit more money and get something better, and not sevylor, though some people, indeed, find this inflatable to be just what they want.

The so called "seats" are useless. Get a board and cut it to fit across the top.

1Not what I thought  Feb 20, 2011 By Fish man
I'm not sure what the guys that rated the boat boot did to make thi product work but it didn't help me a bit. I have the HF 360 with a 50lb thrust minkota and all it did was hold me back. This boot holds water and acts as a drag. maybe I don't have my boat pumped up enough but then again you would have to explode the boat with air in order to make the boat boot not hold water. If somebody thinks that I am doing something wrong here then please let me know. I have tried a 360 with a 30lb thrust minkota and NO boat boot and it seems like I was able to control the boat more and the stabilizers were able to work the way they were made to work. The boat boot does not allow you to travel in the water straight because the stabilizers are covered.

4Second Best Upgrade to HF360  Oct 29, 2010 By Warkmeister
Getting this boat boot was the second best thing I have done for my Fish Hunter 360. The first is an electric motor. The boat boot works great! It makes the boat faster in the water due to less drag. It acts almost like a shell in that you inflate the boat INTO the boot until tight, which makes the boat much more rigid. In my opinion, getting a boat boot is a must if you use your inflatable raft as anything other than a wall decoration. Would not hesitate to get this product again if I had another boat.

4Great Protection  May 10, 2010 By Paul J. Carmen "YankeePicker"
Purchased this to go with my Sevylor HF360. The nylon is very strong, and adds a nice extra layer of protection for your Fish Hunter. No problems with it all so far. It does add a few extra min to set up time as you will have to get the boot aligned properly as well as remove and reattach the grab lines. You will also have to fill the #3 chambers before you slip on the boot. Worth the $ in my opinion.
