The boat came in a rather small box. I was concerned that it could never hold a boat big enough for two rambunctious young teenaged boys, 2 oars and a pump - but it did. We were fortunate to find an air pump at the lake so we didn't have to use the foot pump that comes with it so I can't comment on the pump's performance. The boat inflated quickly and easily. Very sturdy and bouyant. Stood up to a weekend of boys climbing in and out of the boat and diving off into the lake. They had a wonderful time with it & plan to include it on all future trips.

I have come to the conclusion that most inflatable boats out there are nothing more than pool toys. It's a floatation device that looks like a boat. If you want to get a boat you're just going to have to spend some money. I took this on the water and paddled in circles until exhaustion. If you want to just float down stream with the current, this would be okay. It does not seat that many people either. The paddles come unscrewed if you paddle too hard. Oh yea, and the foot pump tore at the seam after owning it for a month only. Just don't buy it. It really will disappoint you.

Have not used this product yet. We bought it on reputation only. Had a previous product by same manufacturer and we loved it.
