2Unsatisfied  Jul 28, 2010 By sg271
This kayak says it will support up to 395 pounds. I am 183 pounds and my wife is 107 pounds. The kayak cannot support my weight adequately. The seams buckle and the cannot support my weight making it hard to stay stable on the kayak. Water collects where I am sitting while my wife is propped up higher. I inflated it until the
kayak was very hard but it still did the same thing. The Kayak buckling created alot of drag.

Disappointed in this product. The return policy on this product indicated unused and original packaging.

I think it is a waste of money.

4great beach toy, decent SOT yak, very tough and convenient  Mar 16, 2012 By A. Barnhart
It's great for playing in the waves at the beach as a big inflatable surf board. Plus you can hop on and paddle.

I am around 200 and like a previous poster, I have had it buckle on me, but that is largely mitigated by where and how you sit. When your legs are out in front of you and you are putting weight on them, it doesn't buckle so much. If you have a good paddling technique, your weight will be distributed between buns and feet when paddling hard and it will move along pretty good.

My kids love it. Two preteens on it only get wet if there is a big wave. I get wet every time, but any SOT (Sit On Top) yak is likely to get some water in the seat. I have used it with a dry suit on in the winter.

I use an electric pump and it inflates pretty quickly. It also deflates most of the way (enough to fold, stow and go) pretty quickly. A word of advice on a fabric covered boat - you will want to unfold it and let it dry before putting it away for a while and if you were in salt water, you will want to rinse it with the hose.

It completely meets my expectations. There is a tradeoff with any inflatable - it is less rigid, but you can carry it in a car with no roof rack or trailer. There is a little learning curve to sitting and paddling to minimize buckling. I think the earlier poster gave up on it too quickly.

5Love it!  Aug 03, 2011 By Happy Camper
Absolutely love this boat. Used one the same when in Australia with my Dad out on the pacific ocean. And successfull done the same here in the states in the pacific ocean as well as many lakes, it's so easy to blow up and transport, it's so sturdy you couldn't fall off of it if you tried. Glides really well, and is a lot of fun...I think everyone should have one :)
